Folding Arm Awning

Then the Barter Folding Arm awning is the solution for you.

Ideal as a roll away cover for patios and terraces where sun protection is required and it is necessary to walk around underneath.

The arms extend horizontally instead of vertically as in other awnings. The Barter Folding Arm is cantilevered from the wall so that the arms do not get in the way. Your choice is Telescopic or conventional Folding arms

With sufficient slope, the awning will withstand light showers but it should be considered as a sunscreen rather than as a retractable roof due to wind restrictions.

Crank handle or electric motor can operate the Barter Folding Arm  . Electric motors are essential where the awning has more than two arms (greater than 6000mm width) and for telescopic arms. With electric motors, totally automatic operation with wind, sun rain sensors or timers is then a possibility.

"Variable Valance" is optional on some Folding Arm awnings. This enables you to extend the valance of the awning as the sun moves across the sky. Show me a movie (152kb)
